Jeff Bezos showed in a video on his X profile his newest rocket, the New Glenn, made by his aerospace company Blue Origin.

On Friday (27), Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared a video of his newest rocket: the New Glenn, developed by Blue Origin, Bezos’ aerospace company.

“Next stop: launch,” the billionaire wrote in his post on X, which received a comment from Elon Musk wishing him good luck.

The New Glenn, named after NASA astronaut John Glenn, was stationed on a platform at Cape Canaveral, Florida, for its final rehearsal before its inaugural flight. The rocket is more than 90 meters tall.

The footage shows the spacecraft firing all seven engines for 24 seconds. This is the first time Blue Origin has operated the rocket as an integrated system.

The company’s CEO, David Limp, stated that all seven engines of the booster operate together with power equivalent to two Nimitz-class aircraft carriers at full speed.

During the test, the New Glenn operated at 100% of its thrust capacity for 13 seconds.
